Install Chinese Input Method
Based on the fact that there are many Chinese students in USC(especially in engineering school), we need Chinese Input Method while using the computers in libraries. To be specific, I recommend Sogou Pinyin Input Method which is free and popular in China.

I work in the USC Library system and there are preloaded input methods.
"- Click the Start button and select Control Panel
- Under "Clock, Language, and Region", click the link for "Change
keyboards or other input methods"
- It should open the "Region and Language" dialog which has the
"Keyboards and Languages" tab selected.
- In the upper section, click the "Change keyboards..." button which
should open the "Text Services and Input Languages" dialog box
- In the "Installed services" section, click the Add button to add new
languages to the language bar.
- After selecting the languages and clicking Apply or OK, the language
bar will appear as an icon on the taskbar next to the system tray in the
lower right hand corner of the screen.
- Clicking the icon lets you switch the input language between the ones
you selected and/or undock the bar from the taskbar and make it float
somewhere else on screen."It's a similar process on the Mac's under the settings, keyboards and languages.
